OCI dates vary according to interview dates. Students' application materials are sent to employers approximately two weeks to four weeks prior to scheduled interview dates. Interview schedules are sent to employers 4 days to one week prior to the scheduled interview.

Early Interview Week is conducted virtually via FloRecruit and in-person at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association; remainder of OCI hosted at the School of Law or via FloRecruit.

If you organize or participate in either cooperative or off-campus interview programs, please list applicable information about participating schools, dates, interview locations, program coordinator/telephone, pre-screening or other selection process, and registration fees.
Students can participate in the following through the CWRU School of Law Career Development Office: Equal Justice Works Conference & Career Fair-Washington, DC; Midwest Public Interest Conference-Chicago, IL; Cook County Bar Assoc. Minority Job Fair-Chicago, IL; Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference-Minneapolis, MN; BLSA Midwest Minority Conference; Loyola Patent Law Interview Program, Chicago, IL; Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association Fall Diversity and Inclusion Fair; Hartland Legal Job Fair; Lavender Law Fair. Early Recruitment Programs take place virtually for key locations: Chicago, New York, DC, and Southern California. The 2023 New England Interview Program will place virtually with eight other law schools.

Student and alumni job postings are updated on a daily basis. Job postings are accessible online through Symplicity, a web based recruiting system, to those alumni who request a password through our office at https://case.edu/law/employers/join-our-network. Students automatically receive a password. Employers may fax, mail, email, telephone, or register online at https://case.edu/law/employers or email job postings to the Career Development Office at [email protected]. Job postings remain active approximately 4 weeks, unless employers request otherwise.

FIRST-YEAR STUDENT Describe any special regulations pertaining to the recruitment of first year students. For example, are first year students eligible for spring OCI? When are job notices posted during second semester?
First-year students are encouraged to participate in Spring Recruitment during their second semester.
